School Programs

Student Council
Student Council provides Archuleta Elementary students with leadership opportunities. Students in 2nd through 5th grades are allowed to participate. Classrooms select two representatives, and from this group officers are elected. Members think of ways to help and improve our school. Student Council sponsors Spirit Days, leads the morning Pledge of Allegiance, helps with fundraisers, and assists when there are special activities. Some exciting things they have done include hosting visitors for Archuleta’s Thanksgiving Feast, sponsoring a “Fancy Day” to celebrate one of the RIF book give-aways, and a food drive for Food Band of the Rockies.
