Teachers
The teachers at Archuleta Elementary School are a community of leaders that strives, everyday, to instill a well-rounded education in the lives of their students. Our teachers are well educated with college degrees ranging from Bachelors to Doctorate, in addition to some teachers with National Board Certification. The Personnel Committee selects teaching candidates for vacancies in the school. It is comprised of the principal, three teachers (elected by the faculty), and may have two parents appointed by the Collaborative School Committee. The Personnel Committee will make decisions by consensus. In cases when this cannot be done, the principal makes the impasse decision.
